Well, the spring semester has begun and it is evident that all the kids are comfortable with one another - they just kept right on talking! Truly, it was a wonderful day of listening to music and talking to the kids. They were so full of life today - so much fun! I am so bad because I just begin the semester like they haven't had a day off - like the break didn't even happen! They were disappointed to when they had to work. So, fun! But they got to sing, so they were happy. The boys are beginning their preparation for the Nat'l Anthem - they thought the song was difficult. Oh, well!
It is a full semester ahead, so sing on!

back to work
Today, I went back to work. I got there 45 minutes later than I planned - which is not to say that I was late, I wasn't. However, the more meetings that I have to sit through, the more of a maverick I become. So, I left about 9am and went to my room for the rest of the day. I was able to straighten up the choir library, only to discover that there is 3 years worth of music to file. ARGH!
I am in the process of choosing Mixed Choir music as well as the final piece for the guys and the adv. women's group. It is tough.
Today, I TRIED to eat healthy. I ate 2 eggs for breakfast and chicken tortilla soup for lunch. By 4pm, I was STARVING and I didn't want to eat a carb-based snack. I ended up eating the chocolate cake. I have got to decrease the amount of carbs in my house. Right now, we are overrun with them.
There is nothing on TV to watch tonight. I have documents to prepare for this week's classes. Stuff to do.................

on with 2007!
So, Christmas has been packed away - all the ornaments wrapped carefully in tissue paper, and all the trees branches bundled together and stuff into a large plastic tub. We are returning to our everyday look. Last year, we left the Christmas stuff out until Valentine's Day and it made us slow to decorate for this year's holiday. So, this year, we are packing it away early so that we can enjoy it when it comes round again. I enjoy decorating for Christmas, so I want to enjoy it for 2007.
